Quickstart
The whole path, in order. Each step links to the page that covers it properly.
-
Create your organisation — 5 minutes
Sign up with your work email, verify it, and you become the first
admin. If someone at your company got there first, your signup becomes a join request instead. -
Connect your identity provider — 20–40 minutes
Register Seylo in Entra ID, Google Workspace, Okta, Auth0 or Keycloak, then map your existing groups or app roles onto Seylo’s four roles. Use test login to prove it before you tell anyone it works.
You can skip this and use local accounts, but most teams do it now because role mapping is what makes the rest self-service.
-
Register a cluster and install the agent — 15 minutes
Add the cluster in Seylo with connection method In-cluster agent, choose an RBAC posture, then run one Helm command inside the cluster. It dials out and appears as Connected.
-
Verify the connection — 2 minutes
Confirm the agent reports its version, protocol version and namespace counts, and that the dashboard shows your workloads.
-
Deploy something
Pick a Deployment, propose a new image tag, have it approved, and watch the rollout report real progress — including the real failure reason if it does not roll out.
Deployment guides are being written; the portal walks you through this flow, and approvals explains who has to do what.
If you get stuck
Section titled “If you get stuck”- The agent installs but never connects → troubleshooting the agent
- Sign-in fails, or signs in with no permissions → test login
- The cluster is behind a proxy or TLS inspection → restricted networks
